Critical Gagaism

I used to have some stationery resembling the one that Gaga used to blast out against the Extreme Critics Fundamentalists of the Fashion Industry…Don’t know where it went, but I am glad it finally turned out in a form of a memo by Lady G.

 In the whole her manifesto is not without cause. It is a blatant disregard, more often that not, by the media at large for young emerging talent in the Fashion Industry only equaled by their overly subservient attitudes toward the multinational labels that has in a way contributed to the atrophication of the business of Fashion. The thrill of discovery has run off the bottom of their Birkin bags…a solution maybe to stop giving them all these freebies and comps and have them pay their own way to Fashion Week, maybe that will level off the playing field somewhat.
